Rowena Welter

Hey I’m Rowena from Rowena’s Tattoo Art in the Netherlands / Almere.

I am now 31 years old and the mother of a son and daughter.

I have always been brought up very creatively and have been painting and drawing all my life.

My big dream was to one day be a tattoo artist, and a year ago I just made that dream come true!  

I quit my job and took the plunge, rented a space and bought everything to start tattooing.

I did not apprentice in a tattoo shop because I wanted to be able to tattoo my own designs right away and discover and develop my own style.

Immediately when I started I got to tattoo a lot on all lovely people who believed in me, and that way I grew very quickly.

After 10 months tattooing I opened my own shop and I am the happiest woman on earth.

I am so very grateful for what I have already achieved!

My shop has a cozy, homely atmosphere.

I think it is important that everyone feels at ease and can be themselves.  I love to chat and laugh a lot.  

To my view getting a tattoo is not only about the tattoo but also about the entire experience!
